That article simply reiterates several things I say, but as opposed to me, finds those things desirable and useful.

It also, in my opinion, with all due respect, talks very superficially about certain topics. It references "Internet of things" which nominally has nothing to do with Web3 or decentralisation, and describes it as such:

"This is the part that takes things of the metaverse and amplifies their usage to amplify hardware and real devices. This is where everything around us will become smart, and all will be interconnected through the metaverse."

With all due respect, that's just colourful nonsense. IoT has absolutely nothing to do with the metaverse. Moreover, it's an old concept now that already had its peak.

It also claims, without any justification, that blockchain "contributes to foundation of the Metaverse". This is again the bullshit I talk about in the article - blockchain does not contribute to decentralisation, nor it is necessary for decentralisation. Likewise, blockchain is in no way necessary to create a VR world, UNLESS you want to add artificial scarcity to the equation, which I find neither useful nor desirable.

Finally, the article makes several false claims. Decentralised storage isn't currently cheaper, nor there is a reason for it to be. It is also not faster, as there is additional latency involved.
